What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your Saltopus order securely online using your Paypal account.
You can also pay by credit or debit card. Card payments are processed through Paypal, so all of your information is kept completely safe. You do not need a Paypal account to pay by card.
If payment is made by eCheque through Paypal, please be aware that we will not be able to send your items until payment has cleared.
We do not accept personal cheques.
Placing your order
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, you will – one from us and one from Paypal showing your payment details.
How much is shipping?
The shipping cost is calculated automatically during checkout before you submit your payment information. Once you have added items to your basket, proceed to checkout where you will be shown the shipping cost.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box address?
How long will it take to dispatch my items?
We aim to process and ship all orders within 1 to 3 working days; usually we will ship the same or next working day. If items are on pre-order, we will notify you as soon as they are available and ready to ship.
What delivery methods do you use within the UK?
Delivery within the UK will usually be by Royal Mail standard 1st Class or 1st Class Recorded delivery. We may also occasionally use a reputable courier such as Hermes or UPS.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do.
All international orders will be sent fully tracked by Royal Mail.
What about international customs charges?
You are entirely responsible for any customs, duty or other charges that your country may charge on items you receive from the UK.
If you refuse delivery due to customs charges, your order will be returned to us and any refund we make to you will be less the shipping cost and any outstanding charges.
What if I need to return something?

Can I exchange an item?
Yes, but only for the same product in a different size or colour. Please see our Returns page for more information about exchanges.
I need to cancel my order, what do I do?
You can contact us by email at email@example.com to cancel your order up to 7 days after placing it. If we have already dispatched your items you will need to return them to us and our 14 day return policy will apply. Please go to our Returns page for more details on returning items to us.
What do I do if there is a problem with my order?
Please contact us first at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us what the problem is. We can then work out a solution with you! If a product is faulty we will arrange with you to return the item and either send you a replacement or a full refund.
Do you offer items wholesale?
Yes indeedy! If you run an online or real-world shop and would like to stock our products, simply get in touch with us at email@example.com with your details.
What is a Saltopus?
Saltopus (Sal-to-pus) was a dinky dinosaur that lived in what is now Scotland around 220 million years ago. It was less than a metre long and is believed to have mostly eaten insects. We think it’s rather cute, despite the razor-sharp teeth!
Where are you based?
We’re in the green and pleasant Midlands of the UK.
Do you have a physical shop?
No, not at the moment.
Will you be doing women’s wear?
Yes, very soon!
Do you plan to do a children’s range?
Possibly, at some time in the future. We want to focus on grown-ups for now, though 🙂
Who creates your designs?
Our graphics are created exclusively for us by some of the best illustrators around!
Can I design a t-shirt for you?
We only work with our network of professional illustrators and designers. I’m afraid we don’t run competitions, accept unsolicited submissions or do anything on-spec.
